Most cruise lines require the future cruise credit (FCC) to be used for the cruise fare and cannot be used for the deposit. Depending on the cruise line, future cruise credits likely can also not be used towards port taxes and fees, prepaid gratuities, shore excursions, or onboard spending. Working with one of our travel agents can help explain what parts of a booking are eligible to be used toward a future cruise credit.
You do not need to wait to receive your future cruise credit to book your next cruise, however. You can pay the deposit now and use your future cruise credit to pay the remaining balance once you receive it. In some instances, your travel agent can even hold your reservation while waiting for the cruise line to apply your future cruise credit.
We can help you ensure you receive your future cruise credit (FCC) and rebook your next cruise so please call today if you need any assistance!
