Avalon Waterways Health & Safety Protocols
Do I need a vaccination or COVID-19 test to cruise with Avalon Waterways?
- As of March 1, 2023, Avalon no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- No testing is required to board Avalon Waterways cruises.
Do I need to wear a mask?
In some destinations, based on local guidelines, masay still be required for public transportation, indoors and/or public venues. For those cases, plan to travel with your own supply of masks. It is recommended a N95 (FFP2), as some countries require this specific mask.
Can I get off the ship at port?
It will be necessary to follow the health protocols for every port we visit, which are under the control of local authorities and subject to change without prior notice. All guests, regardless of vaccination status, must come prepared to follow local guidance pertaining to mask wearing, physical distancing, testing/health screenings, etc. Since destination health protocols continue to evolve, the most up-to-date information will be provided in a stateroom advisory.
